We will also offer detailed home hardening audits that prioritizes highest risk and lowest cost improvements. We build upon traditional defensible space and home hardening measures by adding proven fire suppression tools to protect property.
Neighbors share resources and support each other to efficiently evacuate when needed, and defend their properties ahead of the fire front.

Active fire suppression efforts include fire retardant gel application and deploying fire sprinklers around buildings using stored or shared water supplies.

A Community Fire Response Specialist (CFRS) organizes neighbors and supports fire hardening efforts and training. Property owners work as a team to effectively protect and actively defend their homes. Employing the latest in fire prevention and building science, our goal is to fire-harden properties, improve evacuation efforts and save lives.

CFR team leaders help educate the community by organizing workshops, neighborhood walks, and critical incident training to support local firefighting and evacuation efforts.

Active Fire Protection
CFR communities build on existing passive fire protection tools by using stored water, fire hoses and fire retardant gels to safeguard property. Emergency fire pumps support local firefighters with access to critical water supplies normally inaccessible by existing fire apparatus.
